Cherry Pop Theater

8-11pm @The Ice Palace

A night of performances with an open mic spirit — part curated bill, part free-for-all, all of it happening in front of a supportive audience. The evening opens with Lesbutante, a one-act written and performed by Susan Thornton, a septuagenarian and longtime Cherry Grove resident looking back on her years as a stripper in the 1970s, followed by comedians Madelein Murphy and Kendra Dawsey. Then the stage is up for grabs. Come see what happens when the stories we don't usually get to hear finally get a stage.
